This material may be useful in helping Hurricane responders and family members of responders who work in the impacted areas, or have been, or will be deployed, in response to the storms. "Reaching for Support" was created from interviews conducted of EMS personnel who experienced 9/11 at the World Trade Center, and its aftermath, firsthand. The material provides insight into how EMS personnel in New York have coped with their experiences in the years since 9/11 occurred. This material may help EMS personnel responding to Hurricanes Katrina & Rita in assisting their fellow coworkers, family and friends who may be having difficulty coping with the disasters.
